BEAU SCHOEMAN'S THANKS GIVING SERVICE

Today Friday 12th May at 14h00

Venue – Hendrik Louw Primary School (Piet Retief Street, Strand)

Beau Schoeman, a beloved member of this church and community, went to be with the Lord this past Saturday.  Beau had fought a brave battle with cancer.

Beau had been a school teacher until fairly recently, so the memorial service will be hosted at Hendrik Louw Primary School, where Beau taught for many years.  Beau had such a significant impact on so many lives in our community, so tributes have been pouring in from across the Helderberg Basin.  This has even prompted  an article in the local District Mail newspaper about Beau this week.

Please keep Beau’s wife Sharon, their children and extended family in your prayers at this time.

Although we grieve with them, we grieve as those with hope:

“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” – I Thessalonians 4: 13-14
