WOMEN GROWING TOGETHER IN CHRIST

The Bible says that when we believe in Jesus, we are adopted into His family with a mandate to serve and love each other.  When Christians love each other well, we hold out God’s love to a watching world (John 13:35).

So, as women and sisters in Christ, we want to grow together in Christ. 

We do this by meeting together under God’s word, enjoying each other’s company, encouraging one another through the ups and downs of life, and learning what God has to say to us.

Weekly groups, regular events and the REACH WOMEN conference all fall under this ministry.  If you are new to our church or just wanting to know more, keep reading …

BLOOM

BLOOM is a ministry that seeks to bring women of all ages together, to build and grow us in our relationship with God and each other.  

We do this by organising events throughout the year with those relational goals in mind.  These include a mixture of growth events (e.g. a workshop with bible teaching around a specific topic / passage of scripture) or social events (e.g. a picnic, coffee morning).

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS FOR WOMEN

There are a variety of weekly fellowship groups for women at Christ Church.  These groups meet to study God’s word, pray together and encourage one another.  The days, times and venues of these groups vary.

MOMS AND TOTS

Moms & Tots is a group that caters for the moms at Christ Church that have babies or toddlers.

Whilst having a baby can be a really joyful season, new moms can also feel overwhelmed and isolated.  The goal of this ministry is to provide a safe place for moms and their little ones to connect with women in a similar season of life and enjoy bible study together.

Moms & Tots meets every Thursday morning at the church. For more details or to be added to the WhatsApp group, please contact Marie Smit.

GOLDEN OLDIES

This is a social group for ladies 75 years and older. This group meets once a month for fellowship and an interesting presentation or activity.  This is always accompanied by delicious snacks along with a cup of tea or coffee.

Golden Oldies meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, usually in the smaller Christ Church hall.  For more information please contact Di Gilbert.

REACH WOMEN CONFERENCE

This is an annual conference for women run by our denomination, REACH SA.  The goal of the conference is to REACH WOMEN with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The conference is an encouraging morning of vibrant praise and worship, bible teaching and stories of grace. We encourage our women to attend this conference. The conference is multiplying in 2024 – the same conference will be offered on two different dates at two different locations – one of which will be CCSW.
