GIVE TO CHRIST CHURCH SOMERSET WEST
As Christians, giving is our response to God’s amazing grace and the indescribable gift of his Son to us. Generous giving blesses others and supplies the needs of God’s people, it is also an act of obedience and trust – in doing it we are saying that it is God, not ourselves or anyone else, who ultimately provides for our needs. The scriptures say that God loves a cheerful giver, not because the church's needs are met, but because God's heart is made glad when we depend on him.
“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times; having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

BUILDING LOAN
There is still an opportunity to specifically give towards the settlement of our building loan with REACH SA. Please consider whether you are able to give towards this capital project. In order to settle the building loan of 7.8 million, we need a further R50 000/month to start paying off the capital. We remain prayerfully dependant on the Lord for his provision.

WHERE DOES OUR SPENDING GO?
Our highest area of expenditure is staffing costs (64%), followed by payments to mission partners and mission societies (14%). Interest on our building loan (13%) and operating costs (9%) make up the balance of what we spend.
