CROSSWORD CAMP IS ON THE HORIZON
Crossword camp is an annual Christian camp for young people that has been running for several decades.
Last year, the camp had grown out of itself! It was time to multiply. So, a second venue was added and the camp was split into two groups - one for junior teens (grades 7-9) and one for senior teens (grades 10-12).
The camps are run by Rev. David Hill (St Matthews Church) and Rev. Leighton Ronne (St James Church) with teams of passionate and dedicated volunteer leaders.
Crossword camps take place simultaneously in Villiersdorp and Tulbach from 13-18 December.
They promise to be six days of fun, friendship, and great bible teaching across two sites.
This year the speakers are coming from the UK. Trevor Pearce and Pete Woodcock are both incredible bible teachers and evangelists. Blaque Nubon, a local South African Christian rapper from Christ Church Midrand, will be performing too.
We need your support!
Please pray:
For the teens that will be attending these camps from churches across the Western Cape. For a great time of spiritual and relational growth over the six days.
For David and Leighton as they direct the camps and train the volunteer leaders.
Please pray too for the leaders as they give up time to lead and support the teens on the camps.
For Trevor and Pete as they prepare the bible talks and travel to South Africa.
Please book:
If you have a teen that would like to attend one of the camps, please BOOK ASAP. The camps are filling up quickly and space is limited. More info on the camps and how to register HERE.
