FAREWELL TO LES MARKHAM
After more than 21 years as our church administrator, Les will be leaving Somerset West to move to the Blouberg area at the end of August. She wants to be nearer to her daughter and family who live over that way. She plans to join our sister church, St Matthews in Tableview (where David Hill is the Rector).
We are really sad to be saying goodbye to Les.
She has witnessed so many different seasons of CCSW and holds incredible “institutional memory” having worked in the church office for so long.
We will be hosting a special farewell tea for Les between 9.30-10.30am (between the morning services) on Sunday 25th August. More details and a reminder will follow closer to the time. Please diarise the date in the meantime.
Please also pray for Les as she packs up her flat and finalises her moving plans over the month of August.
We give great thanks to God for her faithful service and friendship to many over the years. She will be sorely missed.
