MISSIONS UPDATE
Last Sunday the monthly Missions Prayer meeting was held between the morning services. Freddy Ward shared that CCSW was able to recently contribute additional finances to several mission partners, over and above our usual giving.
Here’s some feedback from those mission partners:
Kenny and Rose Lloyd:
Kenny and Rose Lloyd run a REACHSA church and are involved in University Campus ministry in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).
“The R20K gift from CCSW has reflected. What a wonderful encouragement this is to us. I'm going to direct it towards the building fund which means we have reached the R100K mark.
We are so grateful for all of your prayers and love and generosity. The Lord be with you.

Ross Bartholomew:
Ross is involved in ministry with REACH Namibia.
Ross writes, “I was able to send a little cash across a week or so back and their joy was great. When we have a kingdom vision we often don’t get to see the impact for the kingdom but we trust that He will do what is needed in the hearts of His people to be. Those who have not yet received mercy but who soon will do so.
Thank you for facilitating this. We look forward to continuing to serve our Saviour.”
Noel and Jean Livesey:
Noel and Jean head up a ministry based in Hermanus called “Celebrate Recover, South Africa”. It’s a Christ-centred 12-step recovery program for people struggling with addiction. Noel was recently approached by a church in Malawi to come and run the program there, as well as provide meals for the 30 participants. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in Africa. Noel went up from 21-28 October and our additional funds helped to facilitate this.
Noel writes, “The gift from Christ Church Somerset West will more than cover the meals … Praise the Lord! Please thank the missions team and Christ Church Somerset West for their generous donation.”
Tracey Elliott:
Tracey heads up a ministry called 4the1 which operates amongst children (and families) in Sir Lowry’s Pass village.
