FAMILY CAROLS: POLAROIDS FROM BETHLEHEM
Our Family Carols Service took place this past Sunday. There was a picnic at 4pm followed by the Carols Service at 5pm.
The service went through the Christmas narrative with groups of children being invited to join in throughout, dressed as the different Christmas characters. Polaroid pictures were captured of each scene, eventually forming a set.
Each scene was a reminder of the miracle of the Christmas story … GOD WITH US. Lindo reminded us in her talk that this is truly GOOD NEWS.
The final polaroid was a picture of the whole congregation as we are the final part of the Christmas story. As ambassadors for Christ, we take this good news and are told to “go tell it on the mountain”.
