SIGRID JOINS OUR STAFF TEAM
It’s been a joy to welcome Sigrid Holscher onto our full-time staff team, from the beginning of June.
Sigrid has been part of CCSW for the past 2 years, having moved to Somerset West from Kenilworth, where she was part of St James Church for most of her life.
Sigrid qualified as a school teacher, before heading across to George Whitfield College to obtain a degree in Theology. From there, she served in Student Ministry at the YMCA on the UCT campus for 8 years, before moving back to GWC in an Academic Administration role.
Sigrid is joining the CCSW staff team in a new role - Ministry Operations Manager - or staff MOM (insert obvious joke here!).
Sigrid will assist in creating systems to support our growing ministries. As our church has experienced significant numerical growth over the past few years, the need for this role has become increasingly apparent.
When asked, she said that she was so excited to get stuck into serving our church family that she has come to know and love. She’s looking forward to using her gifts and experience in a church setting vs. the academic setting where she’s been for the past 15 years.

That she would settle into her new role quickly, and discover many areas where she can support and serve.
That she would feel encouraged and supported in this new season.
That her relationship with the Lord would grow and flourish as she serves Him in this part of His vineyard.
