THANKING GOD FOR AN AMAZING HOLIDAY CLUB
Two weeks ago our annual Holiday Club took place at CCSW. Around 120 children aged 5-12 years attended, including children from organisations in Khayelitsha and Sir Lowry’s Pass Village.
The theme of the camp was “Secret Agents” – the idea being that the children were seeking to investigate who Jesus really is. Every morning after registration, there was singing, a little drama with “Abby and Gabby”, “Dr G” and “The Sketch”, a bible talk, group time, craft time and snack time.
Our children’s worker, Esther Visser co-ordinated the club, with a huge amount of help from a large team of volunteers. These included people co-ordinating the admin behind-the-scenes, preparing craft activities, set design and painting, helping with registration, leading groups, giving bible talks, preparing drinks and snacks, supplying lunch food for the leaders, etc. etc.

A special, huge thanks to everyone who served behind-the-scenes and each day, at the club itself. We are so grateful to God for our incredible church family and the opportunity to share the gospel with the children who attended.

For all those who helped / served at club. That they would grow in their faith and be encouraged through their service of Jesus and His church.
For the children that attended. That God would grow the gospel seeds that were planted in their lives during Holiday Club. May many children look back in the years ahead with thanks, as they see the fruit of the gospel in their lives.
Please pray that God would continue to work in the hearts of our children here at CCSW as are taught and discipled from His word.
