THE GOLDEN OLDIES WRIGGLE AND RHYME!

Our Golden Oldies met this past Tuesday morning at Kilberry Terrace (Helderberg Village) for fellowship, fun and fabulous food.

The morning started with a short devotion about the changing seasons of life and an engaging “spot the difference” activity. Then the guest for the morning, Kirsty Savides took the ladies through a musical programme. This prompted much laughter and frivolity.

It was an imaginary musical adventure to the Kruger National Park to meet the Big 5. Dandy the Lion, the Elephant and the Ostrich, and Rocky the Rhino were just a few of the animal friends they encountered.

While Kirsty shared her passion for early childhood music education, the ladies thoroughly enjoyed finding their “inner child” and participated beautifully.

We thank God for the ministry of the Golden Oldies and the women who serve there.

Golden Oldies is a ministry to women over 75 years old. For more info, please contact Di Gilbert - 072 303 1478

SHARING IS CARING is a fun activity where instruments are passed around and then played at different times throughout the song.
