KIDS CLUB

I had to think out VERY LOUD this week with around 85 children here at church singing, screaming, learning memory verses and being taught from Mark’s Gospel… and marvelling at Sketch! It has been a fantastic holiday club with a number of children giving their lives to the Lord. It is a huge investment into the lives of our children, but it comes at a cost.

We are thankful to the Lord for the sacrifice of our leaders and those who helped with decor and food. To give yourself to ministry in this way is to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. I am reminded of Paul’s words to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20, "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
