ARE YOU READING CHRISTIAN BOOKS? (hint - we have a library)
Reading quality Christian books is one of the many ways that we can keep going and keep growing in our faith.
Here’s an interesting article on why we should encourage each other to read books (not just blogs!) as Christians.
Did you know that our church has a beautiful library?
This library is packed with carefully curated resources to encourage us in our faith. It is run by Sheldeen Dawson (photo included above in case you haven’t met her yet). Sheldeen keeps it in tip-top condition, allowing us all to benefit from the large selection of books and other resources housed there.
You’ll find the library upstairs (on the Mezzanine) of the old church hall. And best of all, it’s free to use!
Here’s a selection of what our library offers:
• DVDs - films for both young and old.
• A wide range of Christian books on a variety of topics e.g. prayer, counselling, parenting, relationships etc.
• Over 300 motivating, uplifting, and instructive help books and devotionals.
• Books to help us understand the church, both past and current.
• A range of Christian-based fiction for all ages.
And so much more …
The library is open between the services on Sunday mornings and after the second service.
