GOLDEN OLDIES

The Golden Oldies fellowship group met for the last time this year on Tuesday to celebrate the good news of the REAL Christmas message. The group of ladies enjoyed a ‘delicious tea and natter’ and a ‘delightful concert’, billed as The Christmas Jukebox and choreographed by Kirsty Savides. Kirsty chose 6 carols and, after a brief history of each, she led the group singing of each one.

Sean then led a devotion from Luke 2 on the real hope we have in our Lord Jesus Christ, whereafter Kirsty ended the morning’s gathering with a rendition of the song ‘Real Hope’, composed by Colin Buchanan.

The Golden Oldies is a ministry to the older female members of our congregation. If you are over 75 and would like to be part of this fellowship, or know someone who would,  please contact the Church Office or speak to Di Gilbert on 072 303 1478

May the good news of the REAL Christmas message bring good tidings of great joy to your heart and mind this season.
