JOHN FIRTH GONE TO BE WITH THE LORD
It is with tremendous shock and sadness that we let you know of the death of John Firth in a car accident, this past Wednesday evening. John was a dearly loved member of our church and wider community. We grieve with his wife, Louise and children: Gene and her husband James, Anne and Jonathan. Please join us in praying for them in the weeks and months ahead.
Despite the tragic circumstances of John’s death, we know that his passing was not an accident in God’s eyes. So, we draw comfort from the fact that John trusted the Lord Jesus with his life and will hear these words in his death:
“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” – Matthew 25: 23
