CLASSIC CAROLS SERVICE
This past Sunday we enjoyed a wonderful Classic Carols service at CCSW.
The evening started at 7pm with drinks served in the courtyard. A wonderful carol service followed, tracing the history of well-known carols throughout the centuries. The first carol was “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” … the tune of which was thought to have first been sung in France in the 12th century. The evening was a was a poignant reminder of how the gospel has spread throughout the centuries, ever sincethat first Christmas 2000 years ago.
Over 350 people attended.
