FAREWELL TO ESTHER AND JOSH VISSER

This really has been a month of farewells at CCSW! The Visser family are moving to Christ Church George, where they will work together in ministry. Esther has accepted the role of Children’s Worker and Josh will be employed as a ministry apprentice, serving in youth work. This weekend is their final weekend at CCSW before they move.

Last Sunday between the morning services, our church family came together to wish them well, over delicious cake and refreshments.

Please pray for Josh, Esther, Noa and Isaiah as they move to George and settle there. Some prayer points:

  • For a safe and smooth journey up to George next week

  • That they would settle quickly into their new home, and that Noa and Isaiah would settle quickly into their new day-care routine and make happy connections there

  • That they would build strong relationships with their new church family, particularly the Rector Shaun Hunter and his wife Michelle

  • That God would use this new season to deepen their relationship with Him, and that He would bless their service there and use it for His kingdom growth

“For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” - Ephesians 3: 14-2
