CHANGE IS IN THE AIR

Change is in the air! You can’t help driving around Somerset West and realise that the seasons are changing - that winter is here. As much as we don’t like change, it is a normal and important part of life… and sometimes forced upon us, as with the COVID pandemic and all the associated restrictions. As these are gradually lifted there will be more changes to adjust to the “new normal". Christians should not resist but rather embrace change… after all the Gospel both calls and enables us to change. Any church that seeks to preach and live out the Gospel will be open to changes, will risk trying new things that may lead to Gospel growth that glorifies God. We can quickly become stuck in our ways and this can throttle growth. If there is some good that has come out of this “COVID season” it’s that we are more accustomed to change!
