EXCELLENCE

In our weekly preaching meeting we read an article which helped us consider why we should strive for excellence in all we do at Christ Church. Excellence is inclusive - especially of the unbeliever in our midst. God of course, looks at the heart but unbelievers often judge by outward appearances and are “turned off” by anything cringeworthy. If we do everything well: from our website, welcoming, church set up, service sheets, music, all that is done upfront, our children’s programmes… and let’s not forget coffee - and this is just our Sunday Services - then everything is more inclusive because it is done excellently. Therefore, let's make the effort, instead of settling for “good enough” to attract those who are skeptical of the Christian church.
